Tsavo Leonberger Puppies

We base our breeding program on 3 criteria: health, temperament, and type. Our goal as breeders is to produce beautiful and healthy Leonbergers of sound temperament and correct to the standard.

We are extremely particular about who adopts our Tsavo puppies. We want to be assured our puppies are placed in only the best of homes where their lives will be enriched. Our puppy buyers must pass an extensive interview process. The majority of our puppies will be placed in homes on a spay/neuter basis to ensure the integrity of this majestic breed. Whether your Leonberger will be used for therapy, show, rescue, drafting work, or simply your best companion, they need to be part of the family. Within your family is where the Leonberger will thrive. We do not ship our puppies without at least one family member to escort the puppy to its new home.

We strongly suggest, if possible, you plan a visit to our home before the puppies arrive so you can meet us, our Girls, and see where your puppy will be raised. If you are seriously interested in one of our pups, and you feel you meet our requirements, please fill out our puppy questionnaire. We ask you also submit pictures of your home, family members, and other furry creatures that live with you. We use your completed questionnaire and pictures as a basis for understanding your desires, preferences, lifestyle, and as an aid to help us select the best puppy for your family. Following the formal evaluations at about 8 weeks, we will select the puppy for you and your family. This is why we ask you to completely fill out our questionnaire, so we can better know you, your family, and your preferences. Once the questionnaire and photos have been received, we will contact you to confirm they have been received. Meanwhile, please feel free to contact us with any questions. We encourage open dialogue and your involvement in this process.

Tsavo Puppies are raised, nurtured, and loved in our home for the entire duration of their stay.

Tsavo newborn puppies receive 24/7 around the clock care.

Tsavo newborn puppies receive early neurological stimulation testing. The documented benefits of such stimulation are: improved cardiovascular performance, stronger adrenal gland function, increased tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease compared to non stimulated puppies. Once weaned, the litter will receive the highest nutritiously balanced diet. This provides a strong foundation for good health and ideal growth and development.

At the appropriate age, puppies are moved to a huge indoor play pen where they safely romp and play with various stimulating games, tunnels, and toys. When the temperature and climate is ideal, puppies will spend time outdoors getting acquainted to new sounds, smells, and sights.

By six weeks of age, Tsavo puppies will interact with visitors, encounter different floor surfaces, partake in outdoor games, experience different environments, and will be exposed to an array of sounds. This stimulation assists in assuring a strong foundation for sound and balanced temperament.

Before the puppies leave our home, they will receive their first series of shots and will be microchipped for proper identification.

Formal structural and temperament testing will be performed near 8 weeks by breeders with decades of experience and by knowledgeable enthusiasts of the breed.

Tsavo puppies are placed in the most selective of homes.

We are your puppy’s breeder for the lifetime of your Leonberger. That means that we are committed to you and your newest family member. We are accessible and encourage communication and contact throughout the lifetime of your puppy. We are here for you!
